GoldenPride Puppies are registered with The Canadian Kennel Club on a non-breeding contract. Our aim is to raise healthy happy Golden Retrievers in our family environment.  Below defines our sales agreement and guarantee to prospective puppy owners.

CAUTION!!

Backyard breeders or Puppy Mill puppies have become popular due to lower price tags, however, we must remember, bargain puppies come with a hidden higher price.  These puppies are NOT properly screened for breed related serious health related problems and life threatening disorders such as Hip Dysplasia, Eye diseases causing early blindness, congenital Cardiac Defects and temperament problems due to lack of socialization and temperament screening.  Responsible breeders research and screen both parents for  inheritable  problems BEFORE breeding, and can therefore offer potential owners with written health guarantees.  GoldenPride Puppies are bred through careful planning and from healthy sound parents with Hip, Elbow, Heart and Eye clearance screenings with the OFA/OVC.

Remember, you are adding a 10-15 year lifetime companion into your family.  Look for a reputable breeder!

Our Guarantee:

Our puppies are guaranteed to be in good health and vet checked at the time of sale.  He/she has been seen by our veterinarian and inoculated with the first preliminary shots, microchipped for identification, and preventative worming have been administered prior to puppies going to new homes.  Hip, Elbow, Heart and Eye clearances are for hereditary diseases which are common in the Golden Retriever breed.  We offer a 36 month guarantee from date of birth. Health guarantees will be honored by providing a replacement puppy or up to $200 to help with veterinary expences.

We have spent endless hours researching our bloodlines to ensure each puppy genetically sound and free from clinical signs of health debilitating defects.  We test for hip and elbow dysplasia through x-rays and evaluated by Board Certified Radiologist. Eyes are checked annually by Opthamologist and Heart examined by Cardiologist...These screedings and tests are costly, but extremely necessary in order to provide happy healthy puppies.

All puppies are sold on a CKC Non Breeding contract for many reasons, including a strick code of ethics all reputable breeders and the CKC follows. We breed for the betterment of the breed which helps us to protect the breed and its future!
